UNKLE - A Wash of Black

UNKLE - A Wash of Black

from More Stories

I love this track.
I have just recently gotten into UNKLE's post Psyence Fiction albums - man, have I been missing out! If you like rock and electronic music with thought behind it, check them out.
"A Wash of Black" is one of their instrumentals - it's beautiful, it's rhythmic, it's driving.
Reminds me of a fantastic journey through space and time, unbound by gravity but concentrated on the vague, wondrous destination.
In other words, sperm.

DJ Krush feat. Anticon - Song For John Walker (Sticky Mix)

DJ Krush featuring Anticon - Song For John Walker (Sticky Mix)

from Stepping Stones: The Self-Remixed Best
( amazon )

This song is gritty, hard, inventive, and musically solid.
Its beats will kick your ass, and the lyrics are top notch.
What's more, it has a message - something woefully lacking in nearly all the mainstream rap that's clogging up the cultural capillaries of America's brain these days.
It makes me want to dance.

No, fucking dance.
